The Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) basketball felled the host Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), 72-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hornets (3-6) will now prepare for their test against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, East Jessamine was beaten by Russellville (Russellville, KY), 69-67, in a non-league test.
