The Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), 55-37 in Friday's non-league test.

The Braves (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Swamp Foxes go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Ashley Ridge went down by Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA), 49-32, in a non-league test.

The Thorobreds now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Woodford County for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Harrison County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 74-64 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-1.
