The Panthers enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 65-48 non-league win over Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA).

With the defeat, Walsingham Academy moves to 2-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Gators in a non-league game on Thursday, January 4. The Gators enter the game with a record of 3-3. Greenbrier Christian Academy won 52-41 in their recent non-league game against Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA)
