Kentucky High School Basketball - Meade County topped by Larue County

The Larue County Hawks basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Meade County Green Waves to 53 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Laurel for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Larue County will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 66-52 non-league loss to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-7.

The Green Waves (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, David Crockett prevailed over Hampton (Hampton, TN), 77-71, in a non-league contest.
