Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 67-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Magna Vista upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Warriors host Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-0.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Rockbridge County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Fighting Blues go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 85-61 non-league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
