Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) and the visiting New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), saw Mountain View's basketball squad hold off New Manchester by a count of 69-64.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Buford (Buford, GA) to play the Wolves in a AAAAAAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Buford lost 66-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA)

Next up, the Jaguar play the Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. New Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
