Connecticut High School Basketball - Pomperaug knocked off by Stamford

The Stamford Black Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Pomperaug Panthers to 39 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Black Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weston for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Stamford will battle a Trojans team coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers enter the Southwest contest with a 1-0 record.
