Ohio High School Basketball - Riverside holds off University School

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) and the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH), saw Riverside's basketball squad hold off University School by a tally of 87-86.

With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Newark (Newark, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Newark won 57-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Northridge (Dayton, OH)

Next up, the Preppers confront the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. University School will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
