Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), 59-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Del Oro upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Honkers clash with the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Yuba City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Hillmen go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 58-37 non-league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA).
