Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Blair-Taylor Wildcats (Blair, WI), 46-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Onalaska upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Sparta (Sparta, WI) to play the Spartans in a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Sparta won 52-28 in their recent non-league bout against Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Cashton Eagles (Cashton, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Blair-Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 51-46 league win over New Lisbon (New Lisbon, WI).
