The South Side Rams basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Burgettstown Blue Devils to 41 in the Rams non-league victory on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Brighton for a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Wednesday, January 3. South Side will battle a Lions team coming off a 69-15 non-league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Lions record now stands at 0-4.

The Blue Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Flames come into the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Northgate was nudged by Jeannette (Jeannette, PA), 42-10, in a non-league contest.
