California High School Basketball - Casa Grande knocked off by Redwood

The Redwood Giants basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Casa Grande Gauchos to 43 in the Giants non-league triumph on Friday.

The Giants now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granada for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Redwood will meet a Matadors team coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to American (Fremont, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-7.

The Gauchos (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against James Logan (Union City, CA). The Colts enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, James Logan ran past Kennedy (Fremont, CA), 73-30, in a league contest.
