The R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball knocked off the host Florida State University High School Seminoles (Tallahassee, FL), 41-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Demons (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mustangs go into the 4A Central Piedmont test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Parkland went down by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 58-55, in a non-league test.
The Seminoles now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Florida State University High School will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 58-21 non-league win over Munroe (Quincy, FL). The Cowboys record now stands at 8-2.
