California High School Basketball - Kennedy holds off Sheldon

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA) and the host Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), saw Kennedy's basketball squad hold off Sheldon by a tally of 39-38.

With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to River Valley (Yuba City, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. River Valley lost 47-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Pioneer (Woodland, CA)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Guardians come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV).
