In Friday's non-league outing, the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) basketball squad edged the visiting Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), by a margin of 49-42.
The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (Remsen, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's held off Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 78-26, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Atlantic for a Hawkeye Ten outing on Friday, January 5.
