In Friday's league match, the visiting Nitro Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 65-37 triumph over the Scott Skyhawks.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV) in a Cardinal match, on Friday, January 5. Nitro will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record.

With the defeat, Scott moves to 4-4 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, WV) to meet the Bison in a non-league match on Thursday, January 4. The Bison enter the match with a record of 4-2.
