Next, the Indians face the La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA) in a Desert Empire challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Palm Springs will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA).

The Bulldogs now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to JW North for a Ivy challenge on Wednesday, January 3. Hemet will face a Huskies team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-7.
