Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves (Rocklin, CA), 47-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Colfax upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Wheatland (Wheatland, CA) to play the Pirates in a bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Wheatland lost 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
