California High School Soccer - Deer Valley held off by Clayton Valley Charter

The Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles held off the visiting Deer Valley Wolverines soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.

The Ugly Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Castro Valley for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 3. Clayton Valley Charter will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Deer Valley drops to 1-7 on the season. The Wolverines travel to St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league match on Saturday, January 6. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 2-4.
