The Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Malden Golden Tornados to 58 in the Tanners non-league victory on Sunday.

With the victory, Peabody Veterans Memorial advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Tanners host Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 1-2.

The Golden Tornados now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stoughton for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Malden will face a Black Knights squad coming off a 62-58 league win over North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-0.
