Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH), 81-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Simon Kenton advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Pioneers host Holy Cross (Louisville, KY) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-3.

The Polar Bears now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Worthington Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28.
