In Sunday's non-league test, the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) basketball squad defeated the visiting West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY), by a final score of 57-47.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Butler Lynx (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Sayre will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Lynx come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA).

The Colts (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Scott County (Georgetown, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Scott County went down by Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL), 78-53, in a non-league test.
