In Monday's non-league contest, the host Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers basketball team scored a good 29-21 win over the MAST Charter II Voyagers.

The Chargers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Frankford (Philadelphia, PA). The Pioneers come into the Philadelphia Public - Liberty contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Frankford notched a victory over The City School (Philadelphia, PA), 48-39, in a non-league match.

The Voyagers now own a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush for a Philadelphia Public - American match on Monday, January 5. MAST Charter II will face a KNIGHTS squad coming off a 2-0 league win over MaST Community Charter School III (Philadelphia, PA). The KNIGHTS record now stands at 2-0.
