California High School Basketball - Washington Union holds off Redwood

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Redwood Rangers (Visalia, CA), saw Washington Union's basketball squad hold off Redwood by a tally of 45-42.

With the victory, Washington Union improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Tri-County challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Rangers confront the Centennial Golden Hawks (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Redwood will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 67-40 non-league loss to Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA).
