Atherton Ravens (Louisville, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY), 68-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Atherton upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Ravens host Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Elizabethtown won 67-45 in their recent league bout against Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY)

Next up, the Generals play the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Thomas Nelson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 98-83 non-league loss to Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).
