South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR), 73-57 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, South Medford improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Springfield (Springfield, OR) to confront the Millers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Millers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Techmen confront the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Benson Tech will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
