In Saturday's non-league match, the host Brother Martin Crusaders basketball team scored a tight 86-80 triumph over the Walker Wildcats.
In their next game, the Crusaders meet the St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Brother Martin will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record.
With the defeat, Walker moves to 5-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA) to meet the Cubs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 4. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 9-4.
