California High School Basketball - Buena holds off Camarillo

December 23, 2023: Ventura, CA 93003

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) and the visiting Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA), saw Buena's basketball squad hold off Camarillo by a tally of 38-36.

With the victory, Buena improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pacifica (Oxnard, CA) to confront the Tritons in a Channel challenge on Friday, January 5. The Tritons come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Scorpions confront the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Camarillo will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 61-56 non-league win over Cypress (Cypress, CA).
