Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA), saw University Lab's basketball squad knock off Central Lafourche by a tally of 50-32.

With the victory, University Lab improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Central won 65-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a 5A District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Central Lafourche will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
