The Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Male Bulldogs (Louisville, KY), 80-74 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Black Bears (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Oak Ridge got by Sevier County (Sevierville, TN), 65-52, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Brook for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Male will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 12-4.
