Indiana High School Basketball - Wapahani crushes Jay County

December 23, 2023: Portland, IN 47371

Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 59-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wapahani upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN) to play the Royals in a Mid-Eastern bout on Friday, January 5. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Eastern Hancock won 65-26 in their recent league bout against Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Jay County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
