The Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Southeastern Local Trojans (South Charleston, OH), 67-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Benjamin Logan went down by Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH), 79-16, in a league test.
The Trojans now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Southeastern Local will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 55-48 league win over North Union (Richwood, OH). The Braves record now stands at 6-0.
