Michigan High School Basketball - Wayland ripped by Portage Central

The Portage Central Mustangs basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Wayland Wildcats to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattawan for a Southwestern Michigan - West contest on Thursday, January 11.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Bengals enter the Ottawa-Kent - Gold contest with a 2-1 record.
