The Union Farmers (Union, NJ) basketball nipped the host Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ), 51-46 in Saturday's league test.
The Farmers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Ferris got by Newark Vocational (Newark, NJ), 58-35, in a non-league test.
