In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) basketball squad beat the host Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA), by a count of 77-66.
The Gators (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Archer defeated Morrow (Morrow, GA), 75-56, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Clarkston for a AAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, January 5. Stephenson will clash with a Angoras squad coming off a 62-58 non-league win over W D Mohammed (Atlanta, GA). The Angoras record now stands at 3-9.
