The Cony Rams basketball team (Augusta, ME), was nudged 48-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME)
The Eagles now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oxford Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Mt. Ararat will battle a Vikings team coming off a 38-28 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.
The Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Bulldogs come into the A North battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Lawrence edged Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME), 63-29, in a league battle.
