With the victory, Evansville Mater Dei upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN) to play the Warriors in a Southern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Mules play the Lawrenceville Indians (Lawrenceville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
