California High School Basketball - South Tahoe routs Mineral County

December 23, 2023: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

In Saturday's non-league outing, the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), by a margin of 51-7.

The Vikings (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros go into the non-league outing with a 11-0 record. In their last outing, Fernley smashed North Valleys (Reno, NV), 66-32, in a non-league outing.

The Serpents now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Valley for a 1A West outing on Tuesday, January 9. Mineral County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Owyhee (Owyhee, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
