The West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) basketball toppled the visiting Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT), 74-66 in Monday's league bout.
The Golden Horde now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Poultney for a Southern Vermont - D bout on Friday, December 27. West Rutland will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-55 league win over Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Blue Mountain falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Woodsville (Woodsville, NH) to play the Engineers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Engineers go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Woodsville won 58-38 in their recent league bout against Littleton (Littleton, NH)
