North Carolina High School Basketball - Queen's Grant fells Carmel Christian

December 23, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105

The Queen's Grant Stallions basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Carmel Christian Cougars to 48 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Stallions now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Queen's Grant will confront a Vikings team coming off a 66-24 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Carmel Christian falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 15-2.
