The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) and the visiting Claymont Mustangs (Uhrichsville, OH), observed New Philadelphia's basketball team overwhelm Claymont by a margin of 61-22.

The Quakers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Arrows come into the Ohio Cardinal challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Ashland was trounced by Wooster (Wooster, OH), 67-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Claymont will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH).
