The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ) and the host Shawnee Renegades (Medford, NJ), observed Trenton Central's basketball team overcome Shawnee by a margin of 62-52.

The Tornadoes (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Southern Regional defeated Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ), 54-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Renegades battle the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Shawnee will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
