Kentucky High School Basketball - Franklin-Simpson knocked off by Cooper

In Monday's non-league test, the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) basketball squad knocked off the host Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY), by a score of 43-35.

Next, the Jaguars clash with the Purcell Marian Cavaliers (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 28. Cooper will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 50-45 non-league loss to Grandview (Aurora, CO).

With the loss, Franklin-Simpson falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Meade County (Brandenburg, KY) to play the Green Waves in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Green Waves go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Meade County won 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
