The Tri Titans basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Cowan Blackhawks to 42 in the Titans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Titans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Wes-Del for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Tri will play a Warriors team coming off a 41-32 league win over Daleville (Daleville, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Cowan falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to play the Argylls in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Argylls go into the game with a record of 1-0. Madison-Grant won 49-23 in their recent non-league game against Wabash (Wabash, IN)
