The College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC) basketball knocked off the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 62-44 in Monday's non-league test.

The Royals (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record.

The Cougars now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Chatham Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Southwestern Randolph will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 69-31 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Bears record now stands at 0-6.
