The Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Norcom Greyhounds to 47 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wolverines now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Woodside will meet a Bruins team coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 5-1.

The Greyhounds (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Commodores enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Maury ran past Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 48-20, in a non-league contest.
