San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino, CA), 67-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, San Tan Charter upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ) to play the CHARGERS in a 2A Valley bout on Tuesday, January 2. The CHARGERS come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Arete Prep lost 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ)

Next up, the Falcons play the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Aquinas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Spirits come into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 62-52 non-league loss to San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA).
