The Dumont Huskies basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Rutherford Bulldogs to 48 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Becton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Dumont will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-59 non-league win over Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ). The Indians come into the Northwest Jersey - National contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Weehawken prevailed over Harrison (Harrison, NJ), 52-27, in a league contest.
