Illinois High School Basketball - Reed-Custer can't hold off Flanagan-Cornell

The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Reed-Custer Comets to 52 in the Falcons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Flanagan-Cornell will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 74-55 non-league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-5.

The Comets (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Gardner-South Wilmington was nudged by Marquette (Ottawa, IL), 74-55, in a non-league contest.
