North Carolina High School Basketball - Greene Central edges Martin County

December 26, 2023: Snow Hill, NC 28580

The Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Martin County Knights (Williamston, NC), 71-65 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rams (4-5) will now prepare for their test against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, D.H. Conley got by Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 54-48, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gates County for a 1A Four Rivers test on Wednesday, January 3. Martin County will encounter a Red Barons squad coming off a 40-35 non-league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 2-6.
